ΔMBI terms of use
Slate HQ Ltd · ΔMBI
ΔMBI terms of use.
These terms cover your ΔMBI account, AmbientOS hosted memory, connected clients and the local runtime supplied by Slate HQ Ltd.
Version 1 · 10 October 2026
Account and access
ΔMBI access is by invitation. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity authorised through your account and for choosing who may join a shared space or connect a client. A client’s permissions apply only while its grant remains active. You can revoke future access in your workspace.
Your memory and your choices
You decide what to place in Work, Personal and any shared space. You retain rights in content you provide. You grant Slate HQ Ltd the limited permission needed to store, process, back up, retrieve, return and export that content to provide the service and carry out your authorised requests. Shared-space members and connected clients may receive the content their access permits. Review a proposed action before authorising a connected agent to act on your behalf. A Neuron records context or a capability description; saving one does not itself execute a task or grant a new service permission.
Do not place content in a space unless you have the right to use and share it there. Do not store passwords, private keys or access tokens in a Neuron. Use the credential store of the platform you connect.
Connected AI and copies
ΔMBI is a first-party Slate HQ Ltd service. A model provider you choose through a connected client is separate and applies its own terms and privacy practices to material it receives. A connection can return context to that client for the purpose you request. Revoking the connection stops later access through ΔMBI but cannot recall information already exported or received by the client, its provider or another person. Check the provider’s terms before sending sensitive information.
History, exports and deletion
Editing or removing a current record may leave earlier revisions and backups available for recovery. Export creates a copy for you to safeguard. To request removal of an account and its retained history and backups, contact [email protected]. We will explain any information retained for an applicable legal or security reason. Local runtime files and copies held by another service are handled separately.
Acceptable use and service changes
Use ΔMBI lawfully and respect others’ privacy and intellectual property. Do not probe accounts or spaces without authority, bypass access controls, disrupt the service or use it to distribute harmful code. We may restrict access to address misuse or a security incident and will take account of your rights and the circumstances. We may change features as the service develops and will give appropriate notice of material changes to these terms.
Ownership, liability and contact
Slate HQ Ltd retains rights in its software, AMBI, ambience, .slate and AmbLang. Your content remains yours. We do not promise that a connected model will return a correct answer or perform an action successfully. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where law forbids it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory rights that apply where you live.
